When the Six Gods came to Tyria from the Mists, they made their first home here and built Arah upon a great confluence of ley lines at the Artesian Waters. Though the gods departed at the Exodus, the Orrians keep their holy city in readiness for the day of their return. No pilgrimage is complete without a stroll across the Divine Piazza, a visit to the Grand Temple of the Pantheon and the soaring Grand Basilica, and a moment of reverence at the cathedrals of the Five — each a wonder of white marble, beaten gold, and living magic. Beneath the streets lie the Vaults of Holiness, where the kingdom keeps its holiest treasures and its most carefully guarded secrets.
