Those bound for the Crystal Desert depart Orr by the Scavenger's Causeway, an ancient stone road that threads the eastern marches of the peninsula. Caravans of pilgrims, traders, and treasure-seekers travel it season upon season, and the views — salt marsh giving way to red sand, the spires of Arah dwindling behind — are reason enough to make the journey. Provision well and keep good company; the causeway is long, and the desert beyond keeps its own counsel.
